The best quality and most durable earbuds are the dream of every music lover or PC gamer. Do you use earbuds for listening to music and you are looking for the most durable earbuds whose price is under 50 dollars? Learn more about the most durable earbuds.
Today, for listening to music through our MP3 player or phone usually we use headphones or so-called ear buds because the standard ones are too cumbersome and often much more expensive compared to the great variety and accessibility of most durable earbuds under 50 dollars. However, buds are certainly not the best choice. And if, however, you decide to keep them, learn how to use them properly and protect your ears and hearing.
It is normal that we all aspire to those of the highest quality and most durable earbuds models which have a superior sound, but always, there is the issue of the price. Money is always a key factor in purchasing such gadgets.
You can find a lot of models of headphones that will provide you with excellent sound quality for a relatively cheap price. If we talk only about the price, one of the Sennheiser headphones models under 50 dollars have received rave reviews by users who say that the sound on the headphones is excellent.
The defect is a slightly stronger bass, which sometimes operates in an unbalanced manner, but everything can be arranged via the equalizer on your computer. Of course, from these handsets you cannot expect that the sound will totally impress and delight you, but the issue here, as we have already mentioned, is the price. For $25 you are not very likely to find headphones with a higher quality audio.
In terms of design and material, it could be set aside as a drawback, because the headphones are made from rather sensitive plastics and imitation leather, which eventually begins to crack, but if you are careful, these headphones will serve you well and absolutely justify the category of the most durable earbuds under 50 dollars.
What we should be focusing on when purchasing earbuds under 50 dollars.
Many studies have proven that it is excessive use of earbuds headphones which has caused hearing impairment in young people, among other factors.
So are earphones really bad for your hearing?
You probably know that exposure to high noises (such as a lawn mower working, music concerts, street works, etc.) can lead to hearing damage. Recent research has revealed a new danger – devices for listening to music (such as iPods and other MP3 players) whereupon music is sent directly into our ears, especially when the ear buds are inserted directly inside the ear canal. What is actually the real risk? It depends on the volume and period, or how long you are exposed to it. Take note: It is estimated that one in five teenagers have some form of hearing impairment, almost a third more than teenagers in the 80s and 90s of the 20th century, which experts attribute to the increasing use of headphones. The easiest way to save your hearing and reduce the risk of damage to it is to listen to expert advice related to the use of these devices, and that happens to be the 60/60 rule: use up to 60% of the maximum capacity of the handset – no more than 60 minutes a day. In fact, instead of earphones (or ear buds), using headphones that go over the ears (headphones), especially models with a curve to neutralize noise (noise-canceling), can prevent further damage.

Something that sets these earbuds apart from others is that they have a single dynamic Microdriver, which gives them a fantastic sound quality, some serious bass, very clear trebles and also isolates noise pretty well (by blocking external noise by way of creating a material seal around as well as inside the ears in order to keep the music in and the ambient din out). Their durability is also very good because of the quality of the materials and components used, and plus they have a strong cable that seems like it will last a long time. Also, you are given a number of different ear tips so you can find the best for your ear. You will also get a pouch and a cleaning tool in the package. THE INTERESTING EVOLUTION OF HEADPHONES
We go nowhere without them. They help to build our own micro-universe where nobody can disturb us. We carry them on trips, while riding a bike or working out, on the way to work or school, we carry them in all the situations where our favorite music can make a day or night better, without bothering those around us.
Headphones are definitely become a habit of an enormous number of civilized individuals. An average user can use them to listen to music, audio books, make phone calls, and carry out various studies or any other activity that requires listening carefully.
Let’s be honest, headsets are often used only in order not to have to listen to monotonous conversations of passengers in public transport, in order to lessen the boredom during physical activity or not to listen to any sound stimuli that we want to avoid at some point.
A return to the past
The first name mentioned when it comes to headsets is that of the genius French engineer Ernest Mercadier who in 1891 patented the first ‘in-ear’ headset. The invention was designed for telephone operators and his headphones had rubber protection in order to prevent the interference of external sounds.
The headphones that we use today have been through a very interesting evolution for the last 100 years. The first classic headphones were invented by a gifted scientist in his own kitchen. Back in 1910, Nathaniel Baldwin with his own hands made the first pair of classic headphones, and his invention was sold to the United States Navy. The Navy saw the huge potential of this invention and ordered from Baldwin more pairs of headphones, but he could not deliver more than 10 items to them as he was limited by the work conditions in his kitchen. However, Baldwin and the Navy soon reached an agreement and he delivered 100 pairs of headphones, which made him a rich man. It is interesting that Baldwin invested the money into the Mormon movement, which advocated polygamy, but unfortunately it turned out that he made a bad investment because it went bankrupt.
This is the approximate story of the prototype of commercial headphones. Believe us, Baldwin’s ‘kitchen’ headsets were significantly more uncomfortable than those that you may be wearing on the ears while reading this.
After this revolutionary invention, two world wars happened, creating immeasurable damage to the whole of mankind, and the time of great conflict was remembered for countless inventions that we still use for a good reason.
Technological advances during the the first and second World Wars did not bypass the handset. During World War II, spying and intercepting enemy messages were the daily work of professionals who played a crucial role in the final outcome of the war. At the time, several manufacturers were mentioned, who delivered a significant number of different models of headsets.
The first name mentioned is the German manufacturer of headphones – Beyerdynamic – which in 1937 produced the first dynamic headphones. Those kinds of handset remained on the market to date and are the most popular type of commercial headphones. After that, a major name is the manufacturer AKG, which in 1949 produced a headset designed for the film industry. During World War II, a large number of handsets was produced that were used exclusively for military purposes, and many of them did not achieve significant commercial success or remain a military secret.
The year 1957 is actually a milestone when it comes to commercial stereo headset designed exclusively for listening to music. This is thanks to John Koss, the founder of Koss Corporation. His first musical set was made up of the phonograph, speaker and a headphone called Koss SP-3. He encountered a problem when he realized that the Koss SP-3 headset was compatible only with his phonograph. That changed soon, and a commercial production of handsets began, and with several other manufacturers, Koss dominated the world market over the next few decades. It is interesting to note that some scientists believe that Koss was not the first one to invent stereo headphones. Apparently, there is evidence that members of the Nazi air force Luftwaffe first felt the power of stereo sound on their own ears.
The next few years, a large number of manufacturers who copied the Koss headphones appeared and mass production and deployment began. Philips, Onkyo and Sennheiser slowly pushed Koss from the market, and Sennheiser will be remembered for the first ‘open headphones’ HD 414 that were a huge shift compared to the ‘claustrophobic’ Koss handset of a closed type. By the end of 1969, as many as 100,000 models were sold, and their design has been preserved to this day.
With the end of World War II, Japan gradually started to recover and became a technological giant. Although Sony was founded in 1946, with several years of successful and groundbreaking video and audio devices, we find the most interesting the year 1979 and the invention of the iconic Walkman with which the MDL-3L2 headphones came.
After the Walkman and the well-known MDL-3L2 with sponge coating, during the eighties, the first ‘in-ear’ and ‘ear bud’ type headphones appeared. In the late eighties and throughout the nineties, headphones evolved at a speed that was almost impossible to follow by individual models. In those years, the emphasis was placed on design, comfort and sound quality, and standards were set that were difficult to bring down. With the development of electronic music, professional musicians and producers in cooperation with large corporations developed specialized high tech headphones that have rapidly progressed up to now.
When it comes to commercial headphones, we cannot omit the legendary Dr. Dre and Beats by Dre. In 2008, this US rapper decided on an interesting move in order to set new standards. His plan was very successful as he made a lot of money, and his example was followed by other manufacturers. These headphones are unusually expensive, but offer a high-quality sound. They have become an indispensable fashion accessory and an ultimate status symbol of many athletes and other celebrities who appear in front of photographers often with Dre’s ‘buds’.
We mentioned Beats by Dre because they were followed by manufacturers and trendsetters who started to increasingly focus on headphones in the role of a fashion item. That is how the models with built-in diamonds and rubies appeared, and the main components were made of gold and silver of a high quality, while the exaggeration in prices has no end. Dr Dre’s example began to be followed by other celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, basketball legend LeBron James and many others.
In this case we will not deal too much with them because we know it involves prestige and mutual competition, but the fact is that the headphones have the same role as an expensive necklace or bracelet, and their colorful evolution continues. Until there are gentlemen such as Mercadier, Baldwin or Koss, we believe that most of us will keep to the standard models which are more than sufficient for extinguishing the musical appetite at every opportunity and every moment.

Good Earbuds Under $50
If we talk generally about audio equipment and the parameters for proper selection, what certainly dominates is the desire and personal tastes of each user individually. Since the desires and tastes are very different, here is an example of how the case may be with the headphones. Different musical genres require different characteristics of the headphones themselves, thus let us say, lovers of hip hop music will want to hear the bass and mid-low frequencies and will claim not to have the right atmosphere while listening to headphones if they are not adequate and do not provide the right kind of environment for them.
Various situations and places where the earbuds are used can also affect the final choice of a set. So we must ask the following questions: does this involve daily sports activities, going to the gym, a studio or do we need them in the library? As we have already mentioned, for the importance of sound quality in certain situations, comfort, sound insulation and durability of the ear buds is also important for the relevance of sound in certain situations.
Once you have carefully considered and focused solely on your own wishes and needs, buying new most durable earbuds for you has been completed successfully and you can enjoy its activities.
• Most Durable Earbuds Pros and Cons •
Something more to say about audio quality:
Nothing can cause many different opinions as much as the quality of sound can. One of the main problems when it comes to sound quality is that if you listen to music through quality headphones you can hardly imagine how it could sound even better. To thoroughly analyze the sound quality, you need the practice and to focus on paying attention to the smallest details, not to mention that you really have to be an expert.
On audio frequency:
Audio frequency, which used the abbreviation of AF, is a term that is measured in hertz (Hz), and refers to the periodic vibrations of air. Most people can hear between 20 and 20,000 hertz and during aging, the first to be lost is the ability to hear the highest frequencies. In the vast majority of headphones there is a reproduction of the whole spectrum. There is also a test called the frequency sweep test that can determine how much you are able to hear in this band. While some producers point out that their earbuds can reproduce a frequency up to 100,000 Hz, it should be said that this is an absolutely negligible impact on real life sound quality.
Most Durable Earbuds – Comparing Headphones.
The right choice of the most durable earbuds should not be considered a difficult task. The offer is the most versatile of the ordinary earphones to wireless, with or without a microphone, with volume control and others. Modern technology is every day making more and more advances to make sure the needs of absolutely every user are met. In fact, you just need to clearly define your needs and purpose of use in order to facilitate the search. If you do this, you no longer need to wander through the shops and spend valuable time on testing products.
Earbuds come with the majority of gadgets designed to play music that you purchase. They certainly are not the best quality and most durable, especially for passionate lovers of listening to music or watching movies. Every serious musician is seeking for the best possible sound. Also, excellent sound quality for many athletes in training gives excellent strength and satisfaction in achieving their highest goals.
For frequent use of earbuds a quality pair is without doubt a good investment. Quality and most durable earbuds require a bit more money, so think carefully before buying. Recreation enthusiasts and athletes who run or jog daily do not want their cables hanging around their head or tangling in their pockets and so they generally opt for the wireless Bluetooth earbuds. Do you also need this model of buds? Think about it carefully.
For those who are in constant motion, buds are the right choice. Lightweight, small and practical, yet powerful and accurate, they easily fit into any scenario, regardless of whether it comes to running or jogging, resting at home, commuting to work or walking the dog. With them, practically everything is possible, to the extent that soon you wonder how you were ever able to listen to music without them.
Advice while purchasing durable earbuds.
To end a series of frustrating experiences in the purchase of cheap and poor quality earbuds, listen to some of the tips that can help you choose exactly the right ones for you.
Everyday use of smartphones and music players includes the use of earphones that should be durable and provide the best quality sound. The market really contains decent durable earbuds that will not be discarded after a few months of use, but will serve you for years.
Are you just real tired of buying again a new pair of earbuds? Just when you thought that the last time you made the right choice and chose a fantastic set of earphones, it happened that after a short time they ceased to work. It also happened to you that one side of the earbuds does not work, the cable has broken down, or you accidentally stepped on them and broke a button for controlling the volume. We believe that all of this can be frustrating for you. The search for the most durable earbuds can stop right here and now, so read all this very carefully.
Learn more about the key features of the most durable earbuds:
- In the first place, we can distinguish the design and material of which they are made. What the market offers nowadays are in most cases plastic earbuds that are very affordable, while metal or wooden earbuds are something which is rarely represented and thus, the price is somewhat higher. Despite the tendency of certain producers to present metal earbuds as the most consistent and highest quality, one should not ignore the fact that a lot of models of plastic earbuds can be of a low quality, durability and design.
- Before you decide to purchase the most durable earbuds, make sure to check the warranty offered by the manufacturing company for their product. In addition to the usual warranty for a period of one year, there are companies that will give you for each purchased product a 2-year guarantee, which is also important for the purchase of earbuds.
- The experience of consumers can greatly help in the decision.
